Growing Faith, Family, and Friendship
Who We Are
Wedgefield Baptist Church has a rich history. We were established in 1881 and are a member of the Southern Baptist Affiliation. Our campus includes our church, our orphanage Wedgefield Home for Kids, and our school Wedgefield University for Kids. Our worship service is held in our newest building located to the west and across the parking lot from the original church.
Our Mission
"To allow God to develop Ministries in His church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share the Gospel of Christ to the lost world and encourage God's people by equipping them with the knowledge of His Word."
Our Message
We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, rose again on the third day, as revealed in the Word of God. We believe in Salvation by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus Christ. We hold firm to the doctrines of the Baptist faith.
Our Members
Our members are kind, friendly, caring, and non-judgmental people who welcome the opportunity to share Christ with others. Come as you are and experience what Jesus is doing at Wedgefield Baptist Church.
