Life is hard and we all need someone to lean on when times get hard (which unfortunately is pretty frequent). We all need a community that helps us grow with the Lord, and help us navigate through those difficult times. This is why we have a ministry regardless of your age or gender.

Men’s Fellowship

Fellowship starts the second Thursday at 6:30 pm bi-monthly. Join the men for fellowship and dinner. This is a great way to support one another with God’s word and make new friends.

The Prayer Group

The prayer group is designed to cultivate a prayer-saturated environment where members actively seek God’s guidance and intervention in all aspects of life. Its key purposes include:

Intercession for Church and Community: Praying for leaders, ministries, and local or global needs.

Spiritual Growth: Encouraging personal and corporate closeness to God.

Healing and Deliverance: Offering prayer for the sick, afflicted, or oppressed.

Support for Evangelism and Revival: Strengthening outreach efforts through prayer.

Crisis Response: Providing spiritual support during emergencies or personal crises.

Wedgefield Home for Kids

Wedgefield Home for Kids is located in Sumter County, in the Midlands of South Carolina. The Home is on the Campus of Wedgefield Baptist Church. Wedgefield Home for Kids will Glorify the Lord by providing a safe, stable, and loving home environment that will support children’s spiritual, physical, and educational needs as they grow and excel with Christ as their guide.

Wedgefield Youth Connection

The youth are literally the future, y’all. ✨
And helping them grow in God’s Word? Yeah… that’s the move. 🙏

Every Sunday we host Youth Connection from 4–5:00 PM, and it’s a whole vibe. Your teen gets to build real friendships, worship together, and dive into Scripture in a way that actually connects with their life. It’s giving spiritual growth + good community. 💯

Wedgefield University for Kids

A private Christian School PreK - 8th grade and Day Care for infants 6 weeks to age 5. We also provide an after-school program for first through fifth grades. Wedgefield University is a ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ through Wedgefield Baptist Church and has since its inception depended upon His gracious guidance, and protection.

God continues to use the generous giving of the members of Wedgefield Baptist Church in addition to student tuition and generous contributions from families and members of our community to provide salaries, insurance, utilities, equipment, materials, training, development, etc.
